Q: What happens after I make a purchase?

A: You will be sent a creative brief so you can tell us how you want your logo, i.e., color or theme choices, icons, the look, content or other information that will help us design the best logo for you.

Q: What if I do not get the creative brief?

A: Email admin@logolopolis.com and put "Requesting Creative Brief" on the subject header. We will get this to you right away.

Q: What if I want to speak to the artist instead of filling out a creative brief?

A: You can also do this. Drop us an email at admin@logolopolis.com with your name, phone number and the best time to call you. We will have our customer service call you at the appointed date and time. You will still need to approve the creative brief, though. The project will not start until you approve your creative brief but we can help you with it step by step.

Q: It is my first time to sign in. What is the username and validation code that you provided?

A: Log on to www.Logolopolis.com. You will see a "username" box. Please type in the username we provided. You will also see a "My First Sign-In" tab. Click that and a box will appear asking for a "Validation Code". Please type in the validation code we provided. You will then have to supply a password. Please type in your password in the "Password" box and you will have access to the site.

Q: I logged on to the site but I do not know where to go. Where do I go to see my designs?

A: On the upper left hand corner, you will see the words "Welcome..." and your name. Next to it is "My Account". Please click "My Account" and you will see all your orders. Click on "Logo" and you will see your designs.

Q: What if I forget my password?

A: You will see a tab that says "Forgot Password". Please click on it and then it will give you an option to "Retrieve Password" or to "Reset Password". If you do not get your password within the hour, please email admin@logolopolis.com.

Q: What if I get the designs and I do not like it?

A: You can request for a revision of the design, or request for new designs. Depending on the package you have chosen, you will have a certain number of revisions. Exceeding revisions will be charged a fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per revision. We will not revise until (1) you have authorized us and (2) you have paid the revision fee. We will request payment of the additional fee via an email from Paypal.

Q: How long do I have to comment on the designs?

A: You have thirty (30) days within which to approve your design. If you have failed to respond, we will deem that the project is concluded and send you the zip files for the designs.

Q: Where and how do I comment on the designs?

A: When you get inside the system, you will see the packages that you purchased. Click on the item "logo" and you will see the designs. There is a box on the right side for your comments. You can type in about 100 words in the box. If you are making a longer comment, please also email admin@logolopolis.com so that we are sure to capture what you want done. Please also leave a phone number and a good time to call you so we can call for any clarification.

Q: I see a watermark on the design. How do I remove that?

A: You see the Logolopolis icon on the design as a watermark. However, the final design we will give you will be without the watermark.

Q: For my final design, what file types will you be giving me?

A: We will give you the following: (1) an *.eps file, (2) a *.jpg file and (3) *.gif file, which are ready to be given to your printer for printing. The following are the particular properties of the files:

  1. *.eps
  2. An eps is a vector image of your logo. This means you can make it as big or as small as you like without compromising print quality. It is also the file you can manipulate should you ever need to make changes to your logo. This format is often used on:

    • Stationary & Business cards
    • Signs & Billboards
    • Brochures & Flyers
    • Ads
    • Packaging
    • Direct marketing & Postcard
    • Vehicle graphics
    • Embroidered & Silk screen
    • Some Microsoft Office Programs

  3. *.jpg
  4. A jpeg is perfect for use on the Internet. Since it has a much lower resolution file than an *.eps and cannot be enlarged without losing design detail. It is not recommended for printing.

  5. *.gif
  6. A *.gif is another low resolution file, great for web and computer use.

Q: What if I want to cancel the service?

A: You can cancel your order within seventy two (72) hours of your purchase provided we have not given you a design and you have not commented and/or requested revisions for it. We will give you a Refund Form to complete and if you have paid a full fee, we will give you a refund less a service and processing fee of Ninety Nine Dollars ($99.00).

Q: I see a watermark on the design. How do I remove that?

A: You see the Logolopolis icon on the design as a watermark. However, the final design we will give you will be without the watermark.

Q: There is this website that I like and I want you to copy it. Can you?

A: We can copy the look, the format and the functionality of the website to a certain degree but it cannot be an exact copy because we might be infringing on the owner’s copyrights.

Q: Will you write the content of my website for me?

A: If you do not have any articles or write-up about your site, we can do this for you for an additional charge depending on the number of pages. We typically charge $100 per page or you can get the following packages for a discounted price: $449 (5 pages), $849 (10 pages) or $1,499 (15+ pages). We will still need to talk to you and interview you, though. The pictures for the site will be provided by you unless you give us authorization to use royalty-free pictures.

Q: Can you upload a shopping cart at the site?

A: We can provide an icon/provision for this but you will still have to apply for a merchant account. If you need referrals of merchant account providers, we can give this to you. Once you have been approved, we can help install the shopping cart on your site.

Q: For my final design, what type of file will you be giving me?

We will give you a site that is fully-functional and on html. This will be ready to be loaded to your web host. Please note that web hosting is not included in our design package. However, we can refer to you to web hosting sites.

Q: What if I need changes to my design?

A: You will have a certain number of revisions. Exceeding revisions will be charged a fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per revision. We will not revise until (1) you have requested us and (2) you have paid the revision fee. We will request payment of the additional fee via an email from Paypal. We may need to get from you your username and password as we may need to get the file from your web host.

Q: What if I want some programming? Do you do that?

A: We can do this on a case to case basis. You can give us your requirements and then we will give you a quotation as to how much this will be. We will not start with the work until you have authorized us and made a fifty percent (50%) downpayment. Please note that programming, depending on the difficulty, may take a few months. You will also need to be clear as to what you want done.

Q: Can you maintain my site?

A: Yes. We can maintain your site for $75 per page per month. Just let us know if you want us to do this for you. This is perfect for sites that are constantly updated, i.e., with articles, news materials, blogs, constantly changing products/inventory and the like.
